Fancy Emerson

This past Thursday, to celebrate Mother's Day, Emerson's preschool hosted a Fancy Nancy party.  All the children were supposed to dress "fancy" and had worked for weeks on making "fancy" things for their moms. I knew a boa was the perfect accessory to be FANCY!!!  Luckily Emerson had a great pink boa from a friend's birthday party.  We took some "fancy" pictures before we left for school.  Once at school, we headed to the classroom to collect our fancy items the children made (pipe cleaner bracelets and crowns). We then headed to the Family Life Center for chapel, a reading of Fancy Nancy, and fancy parfaits of pudding with sprinkles.  The kids also made a great picture for us and planted sunflowers for us.  They surprised us with our picture and sunflower at the end of the celebration.  What a great way to spend a Thursday morning by starting it with the most important (Danny, you're a close second - wink!!) person in my life!!!
