Halloween Dance Performance

The week before Halloween, Emerson's dance class celebrated by wearing their costumes to class and performing for parents the last five minutes of class.  (It was the perfect opportunity for us to do a test run on the costume.  And, as you'll see from the video, I learned I needed to pin her cape the night of Halloween so it wouldn't choke her.)  Emerson was the only student to show up for her class, so she and her teacher joined the other class that's held at the same time for a joint class.  Although, when it came time for the performance, Emerson was on her own to dance her first solo (with her teacher, Chasta, dancing on the side of the room).   She did pretty good to dance a solo in front of "bigger" girls and their moms (that she didn't know)!!  Sorry for the shaky start to the video, I was both videographer and photographer during this performance....pictures and video below!  Enjoy!!!
